The Transmigration of Morton F. is a digital opera, a computer game and a visual ritual together. Sjaron Minailo director and composer Anat Spiegel developed commissioned by the Holland Festival a completely new music experience to fully experience the Internet. They were inspired by works of science fiction writer Philip K. Dick (especially The Transmigration of Timothy Archer ), filmmaker David Lynch and composer Morton Feldman.

Morton Feldman (1926-1987) was a leading American composer who is considered one of the most important composers of the twentieth century. Feldman studied composition with Schoenberg adept Wallingford Riegger and Webern pupil Stefan Wolpe; but the decisive encounter in his musical life was with John Cage, who encouraged him to ancient composition systems such as traditional harmony or serial technique, to let go.
